1783: David George, Spiritual Leader is the second video in the 1783 Collection and tells the amazing story of one of the greatest spiritual leaders of the 1700’s, David George. David George was an escaped slave who started the first black congregation in America and was a strong spiritual leader in the Black Loyalist community in South Carolina, Nova Scotia, and Sierra Leone.
