1783: A Black Loyalist History (print-video text) tells the story of the Black Loyalist community who escaped their enslavement during the American Revolutionary War and were promised freedom, land, and opportunity at the close of the war. The stories tell of their relocation to Nova Scotia and about their resilience amidst difficult circumstances. The four part series also tells the story of David George, who was a significant spiritual leader of the 1700’s as well as the story of early Racial Justice Advocates, William and Ann Taylor. Sized to be used as bulletin inserts and delivered in digital format only. This version has the same historical script as the 1783 video series and may be used together with the video series or as a stand alone product. $10
